I stutter
I stutter since I was 4 and I am 24 now.
The problem is that people who stutter always try to find a therapy for it. Most of us believe that we could get rid of it instead of accepting it.
Until I was 13 years old I never thought of it as a problem. After that I Knew that people are not accepting me as I am, even my family they wanted me to try new kinds of therapy. I refused at first, then I thought why not ! I tried many kinds for more then 7 years. At each time I have a greater feeling that I had a big problem called “Talking”.
So I decided to go back as I was when I was 13 “No more therapy, Never think of my stuttering as a problem” and if any body wants me to get therapy, I would tell them “Go and get it for your self, So that you could accept people as they are”.

I came upon your blog this morning and read the post about your stutter.
I think you are a brave woman…and I hope that you don’t let others make you feel that you are less of a person because of it. It’s true that if you accept yourself for who and what you are, the opinions of others can’t hurt you.
Good luck to you…
