Living in Kuwait
Living in Kuwait means:
If you go to the Cinema alone… you are weird.
If you sit in your car near the sea doing nothing but watching a nice view… you have a romantic date.
If you go shopping alone … you have no friends.
If you go to the Gym … you want to lose weight.
If you don’t wear (`7alajeen) …. You are not following the fashion.
If you stutter … you have a mental problem.
If you smile in someone’s face … “Do you know me?”
If you (girl) ride a sport car …. You are a bad one.
If you read a lot … You are a geek.

well, am not sure about stuttering and the mental problem and reading and being geek unless if someone tries to show how “good” reader is he or she.
i may add:
if you’re with your wife, both look young, and laugh in car, you’re in a date, the same is true if you’re with you’re sister.
if you wear atie, then ur pretending and want to impress grls.
if you grade reports or papers accurately you’re na7ees and ur reputation gets bad day after another.

It happens a lot to be a date with you sister, when I go out with my brother who doesn’t look like me; people stare at us.

and me too whenever I go out shopping or watching a movie or even sit in a resturant or coffee shop with my brother or my uncle … everyone stares and girls look at me as if I am doing wrong!
I hate being a suspected person!!!

I once took my sister to the movies, & there I saw a friend of with his wife, when he looked at me standing next to my sis, he turned his face the other way!!
I presume he thought I was on a date & he didn’t wanna embarrass me… or be embarrassed in front of his wife!

The reason is me feeling homesick in my own country.
And no I am not concerned about what people would say.
But I hate how most people here think, and the problem that they have the same conclusions.
There are some rules for acting, as if each act has the same explanation to the most.
