I miss it
I miss reading under a tree full with squirrels.
I miss racing my brother in the hide park.
I miss reading a whole book in the book store around the corner without paying ;p
I miss making a snow man in winter.
I miss the ice cream with the flake stick.
I miss the backed potato from the same ice cream man in winter.
I miss a school that is really a school.
I miss meeting real Muslims with no traditions disturbing there way of thinking.
I miss reading in the under ground train.
I miss missing the sunny days.
I miss going to the theater.
I miss my life.

Since you miss all these things, then I should say you used to have some pretty cool activities
But what do you mean by “I miss meeting real Muslims with no traditions disturbing there way of thinking”?
January 10th, 2005 at 12:55 pm
bo ghazi,
British Muslims are totally different than Arabs, They are not so proud of there selves as Arabs, they are hard workers not like Arabs, They respect time not like Arabs, they know there duties are rights not like Arabs, they don’t have the words (حرام) or (كيفي), they respect other religions and cultures not like Arabs.
The list will include thousands of things, if you want me to continue.

these days, i am enjoying the ice cream with the flake sticks, do you know that you can ask for two instead of one?:P
Mohammed, the Prophet (PBUH), said: “i am from the best of the best”, it means our race is the “best race” and bano hashim is the best among arabs.
TF. 7aram is part of a muslim’s life, a true muslim at least. i may agree with you and with Mohammed Abdo, no not the singer, who said after his famous trip to paris, “i’ve seen islam but not muslims”.
kefi on the other hand is part of an immature type of personality’s life only. actually in kuwait no 1 appears to be professional productive and punctual, well its unfair to generalize the idea, but in my place, which is full of ppl got their higher education in UK and USA, ppl arent professional nor punctual.

dont have the word
حرام !
what do u mean?!
January 10th, 2005 at 1:23 pm
RA it seems we have the same wavelength of thinking;p
January 10th, 2005 at 1:28 pm
i might be loser found himself in middle of nowhere, but how come u have time to add posts, no work? i wish in my place we can do have that much time:(
January 10th, 2005 at 1:30 pm
TF, no need to go on on, I got ur point.
How many years did you stay in UK?
January 10th, 2005 at 1:35 pm
And about the Haram word; for example when I do something that is not so clear if it is Haram or Halal many people who think its Haram they just say : (( Don’t do that , it’s Haram)).They use it as they use any other word. The word Haram means it’s forbidden and if you do the Haram act you will be punished by Allah. So it’s not that easy word to say.
And always remember that the basic in Islam is every thing is Halal except what is forbidden, not the opposite.
bo rashed,
What did Mohammed Abdo mean, I didn`t Understand it?
January 10th, 2005 at 1:37 pm
bo ghazi,
My first years were in U.S.A, Then 9 years in UK.
January 10th, 2005 at 1:39 pm
bo rashed,
It takes less than one minute to add a post.
January 10th, 2005 at 1:43 pm
BoRashed ya we think alike
TF about what BoRashed said I think he meant the saying:
وجدت إسلاما ولم أجد مسلمين
January 10th, 2005 at 1:46 pm
Ra-1,
Yes I know, But still don’t understand !
January 10th, 2005 at 1:56 pm
TF … I will explain it to u …
When he went to the non-Islamic non-Arabic country he saw muslims manners and attitudes although there are no muslims and the opposit here …
:(
got it?

TF. believers choose to “be safe than sorry”, thus they would think its 7aram. actually there is 7adeth abt this point.
Mohammed Abdo meant that the behavior of french ppl represented real islam but they werent muslims, whereas ppl in egypt where he lived, were muslims but didnt understand real islam and subsequently their behavior didnt represent the islam.
i think islam is the sum of 3 components:
1. algihad
2. al3aqeedah
3. alejtihaad (old and current ones)
typically at this point my friends or wife would say “bo rashed we arent in the mood” so i stop. but this time i’ll stop by myself.
January 10th, 2005 at 2:01 pm
so when he came back he said this
هناك وجدت إسلاما ولم أجد مسلمين
وهنا وجدت مسلمين ولم أجد إسلاما
January 10th, 2005 at 2:03 pm
Thank you bo rashed.
January 10th, 2005 at 2:15 pm
I only wish Muslims would look at work & doing something which is benificial for man-kind as another type of Jihad.
January 10th, 2005 at 2:54 pm
qoura’a = 3olam’a deeen, and we have plenty of them who say No Jihad now. (it has many forms one of which is the holy war).

Branchypelma,
Oh, yes I do ….
February 5th, 2005 at 11:07 pm
i totally disagree with you true faith in the way you discribe Arab Muslims, maybe they are just muslim by name and do the bare minimum to keep it that way. Maybe you should meet some ulama and real pious people rather than someone who goes to prayer and then makes fun of Indians and pakistanis even though Allah made him or her equal to them but not taqwa, Good Muslims are the same every where with respect to deen
and yes there is the word haram in Islam it simply means what Allah has forbiden you to do, yet when you tell someone: ya akhi itaqi Allah this is Haram, you might get a reply like kefy or like who are you to tell me whats haram
akhathatu al3izatu bil-ithm fa 7azbuhu jahanm wa bi2s al mihad
As for Muhammad 3abdu I disagree with him not only me but many scholars too on what he says that he saw islam in france but nit muslims
afanaj3alu al-muslimeen kal mujrimeen malakum kaifa ta7kmoon
afaman kaana mu2minan kaman kaana fasiqan, laa yastawoon

q8ibloger,
Yes you may be right, in that not all of “Arab Muslims” are like that.
But I ensure you that you may be one of those that I mentioned.
