Theory
What controls your decisions?
Is it your mind? No, maybe your Heart!!
Or might it be your soul!
Hmmm
Well let me put it in another way.
Your Mind refers to the logic side of your thinking.
Your Heart refers to the Emotional side of your thinking.
Your Soul refers to your own believes.
Do you Use the same way of thinking in every decision you make?
What is the best way of thinking?
What will happen if you think by using the three ways?
What makes a good decision?
I think if we use the three ways in one time and one direction, we will get the better decision.
If we could.

TF i dont know! i used a combination of the 3 factors to come up with a particular decision. it seemed very right 4 me but when i faced the results they werent as good as i thought although all ppl think it suited me. since then i am confused abt the right way of taking a decision!

It’s just a Theory that could be right and could be wrong.
You are not a king any more:p

Interesting theory… but I guess in case of an atheist person he would have two ways or two factors to depend on when making a decision.

bo ghazi,
Although if a person is an atheist he/she still have a soul and other kinds of believes.

first u think the logic and then what u believe…so its mind and soul… ppl shouldnt gt emotional when making decisions coz that way u end up doing the “emotional solution” — emotion usually confuses ppl and so when making a DECISION- DONT get EMOTIONAL
But then again thats just me

Al,
I disagree with you.
As a human you can’t ignore your emotions in making decisions.

Hmm I hope I am not too late to share what I think.
I have another way of categorizing it:
1. Emotions - heart
2. Logic - mind
Beliefs are listed under the mind.
I don’t think that following the two is possible, because many times what we feel isn’t what makes sense to our minds.
I once thought that logic is the answer to all questions, but then I’ve learnt that emotions are the basis of logic. The two are complementary.
I suppose there’s no ‘fixed’ magical answer. One may never know what the best decision is, not even after deciding.

suvai,
It’s never late
Good way of thinking.

Ok I hope i’m not late as well but suvai reminded me of a training course I once took, & its called “Emotional Intelligence”. The main concept of the course was that people used to concentrate before on a person’s IQ to see weather he’s smart or not or if he could accomplish his wok tasks perfectly. However, now the new trend ppl are interested in is “EQ” which basically suggest that a person who has/shows low level of emotions cannot perform a proper job or do tasks as another person who has a high EQ. So a person’s emotions are highly required in performing his job and becoming a good manager.
TF, if you’re interested i’ll e-mail you more info about this issue, I think there’s a very good book that talks about “EQ”.
