No hard feelings
Expanding the thoughts of the propagandist of Islamic morals is a must.
As I’ve noticed in the past couple of years that some as REKAAZ have taken a path in intention to lead as many youth as possible to the right direction (yes right). I’m not writing this post to point out the objectives of such campaigns because as I believe it is their job to do so not mine; I will raise here the issue that many people think of it as a judgmental and shallow sighting ( I know that many supporters to this campaign will have a conflict on that).
Rekaaz has chosen one part of the two main parts of the human mind; they have only concentrated on emotions neglecting logic. I’m a person of logic when it comes to religion and other matters of life; I can’t bear listening to those crying and shouting religion instructors, I wouldn’t spend time listening to Mohamed or Nabeel Al Awadhi, yet I wouldn’t mind listening to Dr. Zaghlool Al Najjar and Ahmad Deedat for hours without boredom. I can’t see a sign of Reekaz’s and not think of it as offending my intelligence. Amazingly, from what I see in their website, forum and TV interviews I find that it has been affecting a lot of people but by going back in time to my University years I do kind of understand the mechanism of such numbers (University elections), most of them are already religious so they are not an add to it, it is only a number (quantity) yet not a real figure (not quality).
A friend of mine while discussing this issue pointed out that morals are emotional, okay but what about the unfaithful do you think they think of it emotionally as you do, I guess not; an atheist or the “unfaithful” usually looks at religion from the logic side. Shouldn’t they be a target to such campaigns as well?
What if I’m not a person of printed stories, Mohamed Al Awadhi lectures, the full of praise forum or an emotional campaign of huge signs, what do you have to offer me?

I agree with you in every aspect.
These campaigns not only rakaz, even the other campaign for drugs (i forgot their name) they use the american way of emotions to make you follow.. but this doesn’t effect me!

I wonder if you’d be in charge of such campaigns; what would it be like ???

this is a problem ,, and you have to raise this issue to them coz I totally agree with you.
logical thinkers will suffer listening to the emotional instructors and wouldn’t be convinced by crying and changing the voice rhythm !
they have to start thinking of sharing their thoughts with all people ( rational or emotional).
thanks for this artcle

Those campaigns aim for emotional intriguing and thus hope to maximize the effects. Either we approve such approach or not, they do have the excuse for taking that path.
Their main concern is the negative sociological trends and shifts in morals, indeed religion is in the equation but it’s not the main point there (though many argue that it just fits a carefully planned agenda).
People are driven by their emotions with an absence on their mind, trying to satisfy their egotistical needs, the intentions are good and may seem appropriate to counter attack the phenomenon with the same tactic that fuels them.
You don’t really expect the layer of population in which those campaigns are targeting to sit and willingly listen to logical debates? Since their main problem is being illogical and you can’t argue them using a sophisticated technique, the formula fits the conditions nothing more, while hoping for a effects to kick in and rectify growing abnormalities.
Logical debates are most appropriate for those who are either in great diversion or are genuinely seeking answers for their doubts and open for discussions and accepting a good point once presented.

To your contrary, Logic is what made me more “faithful”. Logic tells me that a createe is a proof for the existence of the creator. I take one look at a beautiful tree (createe) and I think, there has got to be someone who decided a tree should be a tree… a tree should have green leaves to make food out of absorbing photons from the sun (Creator).
